Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announces walk-ins at all of Queensland’s vaccination centres
Queensland’s state-run vaccination centres will be thrown open to walk-ins every day and opening hours will be extended for tradies and workers as the state’s Covid vaccine rollout ramps up.

Every state-run vaccination centre across Queensland will accept daily walk-ins in a bid to ramp up the state’s rollout.
Opening hours will also be extended into the evening so tradies and industry can get the jab.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said from now on, every weekend was a “Super Pfizer” weekend.
“Queensland has more than 80 vaccination hubs,” she said.
“The hubs are in addition to GPs and pharmacies with more opening all the time.
“The more people vaccinated, the safer we will be.
“While we have won many battles, vaccination is the only way we win the war.”
Speaking at today’s CEDA State of the State lunch, the Premier said the credit for Queensland’s success so far belonged to the five million strong population.
“Since June, Queensland has fought back more than 20 separate outbreaks including the Delta strain,” she said.
People with bookings will still be given priority.
Queensland recorded one new locally acquired case today – a man connected to the aviation worker reported on Tuesday.
