Police appeal for information after armed robbery in Coopers Plains, Brisbane

A shop worker has been threatened with a knife in the armed robbery of a tobacco store on Brisbane’s southside on Sunday night.

A shop worker has been threatened with a knife in the armed robbery of a tobacco store on Brisbane’s southside on Sunday night.

Police are appealing for information from the public after the incident at Coopers Plains about 9pm.

Police said a man armed with a knife entered a tobacconist on Orange Grove Rd, demanding money while threatening an employee.

He left the scene on foot with a quantity of money, heading south on Orange Grove Rd.

The worker was not physically injured.

Police investigators are appealing to anyone with information or dashcam vision of Orange Grove Rd between Musgrave Rd and Bosworth St around that time to come forward.
