Four charged after alleged gang attack in Dickson Park, Morayfield

Four people have been charged after a man was allegedly attacked at a park north of Brisbane early on Sunday, leaving him with significant head and facial injuries.

Four people have been charged after a man was allegedly attacked at a park north of Brisbane early on Sunday, leaving him with significant head and facial injuries.

Detectives from the Caboolture Child Protection Investigation Unit charged a 19-year-old North Lakes woman and a 19-year-old Morayfield man with one count of grievous bodily harm.

They will reappear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on November 5.

A 20-year-old Morayfield man has been charged with three counts of grievous bodily harm and a 19-year-old Caboolture woman has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.

Both will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on October 9.

Police were called around 1.40am after a 37-year-old Morayfield man was found with significant head injuries outside a shopping centre on Morayfield Rd.

It is believed he had been walking through Dickson Park with his bicycle before he was allegedly approached and assaulted by the group.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with significant head and facial injuries.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything in the area between 12am and 1.40am, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
