‘Not paid enough’: Plumber accidentally unleashes puddle of faeces on bathroom tiles

In a video that has since gone viral on TikTok, a plumber has captured the stomach-churning moment a puddle of faeces flowed from a bathroom drain.

A Gold Coast plumber found himself in a sticky situation when a flood of human excrement started flowing from a blocked drain.

The Moral Service contractor uploaded a now viral video on TikTok with footage of the contractor attempting to unclog a blockage followed by a puddle of faeces flowing from the drain.

After speaking to the client, the plumber headed to the bathroom to gain access to the main drain.

“All right, so the main bathroom doesn’t look too bad, but it sounds bad. First thing we need to do is we pop the lid off the inspection outlet, which gives us direct access to the main drain,” he explained.

“Have a look at this, she’s blocked. It’s not just a local blockage from one toilet, it’s in the main drain. Let’s put the jet rodder down here and blast it, and we’ll see how we’re looking after that.”

The plumber then explained what equipment was required to complete the job before heading back to the bathroom.

“I’m going to put the bullet straight down here,” he said, pointing to the drain.

“I’m going to stick this hose down as far as I can. Ideally we just hit the blockage, turn it on, and blast it away real quick. What I don’t want is to turn it on, put heaps of water through and not unblock it as it’s all going to come back out.”

Two seconds later, a puddle of faeces flowed from the drain, with the plumber quickly backing away from the puddle.

“That is what I didn’t want to happen. F**k,” he said.

After cleaning the puddle, the plumber completed the job and placed a knee on the ground to help steady himself.

Commenters were bewildered at the choice to place his knee on the floor after cleaning the mess.

“You’re putting your knee down, ahhhh,” one commenter said.

“Not him putting his knees on the dirty water on the floor,” another added.

A third commenter added that plumbers are not paid enough for the work they do.
