Two men have been killed and police have closed multiple roads following a horror crash between a truck and a car in Beaudesert this afternoon.

Emergency crews, including paramedics and police arrived on the scene at the corner of Beaudesert Town Centre Bypass and Brisbane St at 12.10pm.

Two men from the car were declared deceased at the scene despite being treated by paramedics.

The driver of the truck has minor injuries but refused transport to hospital.

A Queensland Police spokesman said investigations indicate the car drifted onto the wrong side of the road on the Beaudesert Bypass and the area surrounding Brisbane Street and Boonah/Beaudesert Road is closed.

“Delays in the area are likely,” he said.

“Please avoid if possible.”
