A man has been charged after allegedly holding up one service station north of Brisbane on Sunday night, and attempting to get money from a second.
Police say the 29-year-old man wielded a knife at a service station on Gympie Rd, at Bald Hills, and demanded money from the cash register.
When the shop attendant moved to a secure area, he fled on foot.
It will be alleged he then went to another servo on Strathpine Rd, again presenting a knife and demanding the registers be opened.
He then fled the scene with a quantity of money before he was arrested by police on Arnica Crescent.
He has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.
He is due to appear before court on Monday.
