A HiLux towing a suspected stolen sports car has crashed on the Pacific Motorway, south of Brisbane, closing a major exit.
Police were about 3.10am Monday called to reports of a HiLux driving dangerously at Slacks Creek.
They will allege the vehicle, driven by a 27-year-old man, blew a tyre on a roundabout then drove away from police and entered the Pacific Mwy.
The HiLux crashed a short time later near the Murrays Rd exit.
The driver was taken to Princess Alexandra hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
Police have closed the northbound exit and could not confirm when it would reopen.
Motorists are urged to use an alternative route to access the motorway at Murrays Rd.
Traffic is heavier than usual on the motorway from Loganholme to Slacks Creek with delays of around five minutes.
