Arlo is the first child of Ms Lovett and her partner Tenille Tonga, conceived by intra-uterine insemination.
"Basically, it's natural insemination," Ms Lovett said.
"Myself and my partner - we're a lesbian couple - and we wanted kids.
"We've been together seven-and-a-half years."
Ms Lovett said they went through Queensland Fertility where they got to choose a sperm donor, deciding on a person with a Barbados-Spanish background.
"We fell on the second turn," she said.
"We were lucky.
"She's our miracle bub … I've got polycystic ovary syndrome so we didn't think we were going to conceive as easy as we did."
She said being a mum to Arlo was a blessing.
"I've always wanted to a be a mum … at first, I really struggled as I had a bit of a complicated pregnancy and things like that but obviously she's worth every bit of pain you go through."
"She's a great little baby, we love her so much".
Arlo received 24 per cent of the votes, closely followed by Veah Jenkins on 23 per cent.
