The listing first appeared on Facebook in the Mackay region about two weeks ago, initially stating ALDI was planning to open in the city and workers were "urgently needed".

The Daily Mercury contacted ALDI for comment about whether a store was coming to the sugar city or if the job ad was legitimate.
"We will always consider the feasibility of new locations however at this stage, ALDI has no plans to open stories in North Queensland," the spokesman said.
"ALDI has not posted any Facebook employment ads and is not affiliated in any way to any Facebook pages taking job applications for Mackay."
An ALDI store has long been on Mackay residents' wishlist.
