A man in his 40s and woman in her 50s have been taken to hospital after a classic car rolled multiple times.

Two patients have been taken to hospital after a classic car rollover in Mackay.

Emergency Services were called to the scene at Slade Point at about 2.51pm.

Callers reported a vehicle had rolled multiple times.

The 1973 Mazda Rx-3 was reportedly driving on Cumberland Ave, turning left onto Pacific Esplanade, near the Seabreeze Hotel, when the incident occurred.

Onlookers reported the driver then lost control of the classic car for an unknown reason causing it to roll over.

The rolling car then allegedly collided with another parked vehicle.

The road has a speed limit of 60km/hr.

Queensland Paramedics were on scene to assess two patients.

A 40-year-old male patient has been taken to Mackay Base Hospital with a serious shoulder injury, while a 57-year-old female was taken with head, shoulder and wrist pain.
