Police tracking man near Mackay
Police rushed to a property north of Mackay following reports of a man armed with a pistol. Before they arrived, the man left in a vehicle with two others, including a woman.

Multiple police units spent more than an hour tracking a man believed to be armed with a pistol.
The police were called to a property on Caping Rd in Bloomsbury about 6.30am following reports of an incident there.
It is understood the man left the property in a white Isuzu vehicle moving south towards Mackay.
It is also understood two others were with him in the car, including a female.
The police picked up the car near Kuttabul on the Bruce Highway and tracked it as it moved past the Marian turn-off and The Leap.
The police intercepted the vehicle near Farleigh just before 8am.
All persons are now in the hands of the police.
