One man is fighting for his life and and another is in a serious condition following two shocking motorbike crashes in the Mackay region across the Easter weekend.
The more serious of the crashes occurred at a private property on John Oxley Ave, Rural View on Saturday morning.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said a man in his 50s suffered significant chest injuries in the crash.
He was treated by paramedics before being rushed to the Mackay Base Hospital in a life-threatening condition, where remains in a serious but stable condition.
Earlier in the day paramedics were called to another crash on Davey St, Glenella where a man in his 20s was treated for serious back, pelvis, and leg injuries after being thrown from his motorbike.
He was taken to the Mackay Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
