Liam John Da Pra, Jessica Rose Woods charged with aggravated cocaine possession
A Qld duo have been charged with possessing a street level amount of cocaine but may avoid their matters going to the supreme court depending on what a drug analysis certificate says.

A Bucasia man and woman are could face up to 25 years in jail if convicted after the duo were allegedly busted with an aggravated amount of cocaine.
The pair appeared in Mackay Magistrates Court for the first time on Tuesday facing one count each of possessing a schedule one drug in a quantity more than two grams but less than 200 grams.
It is alleged police picked up Liam John Da Pra, 34, and Jessica Rose Woods, 33, on January 19, 2024 at Bucasia.
On reading the charge out to the pair Magistrate Bronwyn Hartigan said it was alleged the pair had 14 grams of cocaine.
It is understood this is considered a street level amount.
Ms Hartigan said the matter would be dealt with in the supreme court where the couple could face up to 25 years imprisonment if convicted.
A brief of evidence would need to be ordered but the analyst certificate for the drugs would not be ready in the next five weeks, the court heard.
However police prosecution said depending on what the certificate returned there could be room for the duo to be dealt with in the magistrates court.
Solicitor Sean Gibbs, of Fisher Dore Lawyers, said his client who worked in the mining industry had been placed on watch house bail that involved weekly reporting to police.
Ms Hartigan said she would remove the reporting condition from both Mr Da Pra and Ms Woods’ bail and they would be released on their own undertaking.
Matters were adjourned to early May for mention.
