Investigation into house fire at Richmond Rd, Bowen
Fire investigators have been called in after a blaze broke out at a home in Bowen overnight.

Smoke billowed from the room of a single-storey house in Bowen on Friday night.
The wooden structure, located between Glenville Place and John Street on Richmond Road, started to smoke at around 11pm.
One person was removed from the property at 11.03pm by Queensland Ambulance Service and taken to the hospital to check for injuries and at 11.14pm two fire crews from Queensland Fire Emergency Service arrived on the scene.
Within 20 minutes the fire, which had only engulfed one room of the house, was subdued.
Crews remained at the property to clear smoke and ensure the fire remained extinguished.
The person who was transported to hospital.
Fire investigators have been notified and will look into the cause.
