2/14Andergrove Coles store manager Daniel Ryan on opening day, Saturday, July 17, 2021. Mr Ryan says the day feels really exciting after waiting months in anticipation. He says the store was able to provide employment for 87 new members to Coles including 17 Indigenous candidates. 'A lot of the team, it's their first job for them,' he says. Mr Ryan says he's also proud the store is able to team with Mackay District Special School, giving them $5000 as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program and also with Neighbourhood Hub, gifting $2000 as part of Second Bites.
