A HIGH profile Mackay convenience complex has hit the market and is expected to sell at auction in Sydney next month.

Gasworks @Mackay at 129-139 Shakespeare Street is one of 15 properties across the country set to go under the hammer as part of leading property agency Burgess Rawson's portfolio auction at Doltone House, Hyde Park on December 12.

The centre, which is comprised of three individual strata allotments on a 4,512 sq m site, has recently been refurbished and newly painted and is tenanted by Southside Medical Centre, Arch Dental, Elite Physio, a podiatrist, Domino's QML, The Cheesecake Shop and Miss India. The net income from tenants at the centre is $309,000 per annum plus GST.

The Gasworks complex is not the only property across the region going under the hammer in Sydney with Burgess Rawson also hoping to sell an Airlie Beach retail store.

The property, in the heart of the Airlie Beach shopping strip on Shute Harbour Rd, is securely leased to Australia's largest global retailer, Cotton On Group, and is tenanted by fashion brand Factorie.

Factorie have been established at the site since 2010, have a renewed lease to 2022 and pay $80,000 in rent per annum.
