A landslide that impacted the Sarina Range on Wednesday morning after heavy rain occurred in the area was cleared within a day.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads advised the road was reported to have debris early Wednesday morning.

The department advised the ranges in the Mackay and Whitsunday regions were monitored during heavy rainfall to ensure repairs and clearances could happen quickly.
