WHO hasn't dreamed of owning their own brewery?

Well, with Goanna Brewing on the market, for the princely sum of $450,000, the established business - and all the beer you could drink - can be yours.

Owner Linda Palmer said that she's had a great past four years, but she's done all she wanted to do.

"We've just put the brewery up for sale, we've been open for four years though,” she said.

"We've built it from scratch and we've had plenty of growth every single year and we're continuing to get customers, there are plenty of people we can still grow with.

"My husband and I have other activities we want to pursue, still in the region, but we want to move on and let someone else take it to the next level.”

The brew on premise microbrewery brews is known for its Mackay Lager and Bright Beer, brewed without pasteurisation or preservatives.

The business opened in 2014 and also has a wholesale aspect. Beyond 2000 business agent, Margaret Butler says it's a great opportunity for someone looking for a lifestyle change to take up the reins..

"There are a lot of people who want a change, I think lifestyle; it's not hard to brew according to Linda,” she said.

"It's a good business which has got good growth to establish if that was your sole business you would put a lot of time into it.

"It would be great as an owner operator.”

Ms Butler is marketing the business Australia-wide and said that the buyer could be someone for the southern states, who often relocate to the tropics.
