Landsborough fire: Suspicious blaze destroys Caloundra St house

A crime scene has been declared as police investigate a suspicious fire that destroyed a house on the Sunshine Coast overnight.

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed a house north of Brisbane last night.

Emergency crews were called to reports of vehicles and a house on fire on Caloundra St at Landsborough about 9.50pm.

Queensland Fire Department sent five crews to fight the blaze, which was extinguished about 10.30pm.

One vehicle and the home were damaged in the fire but all persons were accounted for and no one was injured.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
