Two men hospitalised after Redbank Plains truck and ute crash

Two men have been hospitalised with head injuries after a truck and car crashed south of Brisbane causing local traffic delays.

Two men are in hospital following a crash in Brisbane’s west.

The crash happened at 1.13pm when a truck and ute crashed at the corner of Mount Juillerat Drive and School Rd, Redbank Plains.

Both drivers are understood to be in their 20s. The driver of the ute was taken to hospital in a serious condition while the truck driver was in a stable condition.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said both men sustained head and lower limb injuries, and were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Significant traffic delays were reported along the corner of School Rd and Mount Juillerat Drive near a Woolworths shopping precinct, before police confirmed the scene to be cleared at 2.30pm.
