A man has been charged after allegedly throwing marbles on a busy highway west of Brisbane, smashing the windscreens of cars.

An Ipswich man has been charged after allegedly being linked to a series of marble throwing incidents on a busy highway west of Brisbane.
The 28-year-old Bellbird Park man was charged in connection the incidents, which occurred between June 20 and June 24, along the Brisbane Valley Hwy at Fernvale.
Police will allege the man’s actions damaged oncoming vehicles after throwing objects, believed to be marbles, from his car.
The objects damaged windscreens on several vehicles but luckily no crashes were caused.
The charges came after an extensive investigation and public appeal for help.
The man was due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on October 24 on five counts of wilful damage.
