WARREGO Highway commuters were delayed north of Ipswich this morning when a truck carrying oranges collided with a utility.

Police said the accident was reported on the Toowoomba-bound lanes near the Mt Crosby Rd exit about 8am.

There were no injuries, however the truck's cargo sustained terminal damage after spilling out onto the busy highway.

Officers conducted traffic control in the area while the mess was cleared, diverting traffic up the Mt Crosby exit and around the scene of the crash.

Police were able to reopen the highway and leave the area about 10.15am.

No major traffic disruptions were reported.
