The world’s largest beauty company will establish a mega warehouse in Ipswich, after pledging more than $40 million to a new development in the region.
L’Oreal Australia and New Zealand, in partnership with TMC Global, has signed on to develop the warehouse in Redbank’s Motorway Estate industrial park.
The warehouse will support the existing distribution centre in Melbourne and act as a multichannel fulfilment and distribution centre
The development is expected to provide more than 60 jobs for the region.
L’Oreal Australia and New Zealand’s Director Physical Distribution, David O’Leary said the local centre would greatly improve efficiency for the company.
“The establishment of our new distribution centre in Brisbane represents a significant milestone in L’Oreal’s growth strategy,” Mr O’Leary said.
“This expansion will enable us to better serve our customers with faster delivery times and better product availability, and the new facility aligns with our corporate and sustainability goals.
“Not only that, but we’re proud to be expanding into Ipswich, and offering the opportunity for job creation and regional growth.”
Work on the purpose-built warehouse is underway and L’Oreal is expected to move-in in early 2024.
As part of the company’s sustainability goals, the warehouse will feature a range of specially designed features, including a biodiversity garden, rainwater harvesting infrastructure and electric vehicle charging stations.

The Redbank Motorway Estate opened in 2013 and is currently home to distribution centres for many national and global companies, including DB Schenker, Australia Post, Coles, Northline, Tyres4U, Zenexus and FedEx.
