Home destroyed in massive Ipswich blaze

An Ipswich home has been completely destroyed after a blaze ripped through it on Monday afternoon.

An Ipswich home has been completely destroyed after a blaze ripped through it on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services responded to a structure fire on Milford St, Redbank Plains at 2.10pm.

More than five Queensland Fire Department crews battled the blaze and brought it under control just before 3pm.

Heavy black smoke was seen in the surrounding area as the structure was fully engulfed with fire, bringing down its roof and walls.

Another fire also broke out in a Galway St unit in Greenslopes at 2.53pm, with the flames being put out around 3.15pm.

No injuries were reported in both incidents.
