We’ve said farewell to Santa for another year and now it’s time to let loose and send 2022 on its way as we reveal 17 of the best places to ring in the New Year throughout Ipswich.
Whether you are ready to party well into the early hours of New Year’s Day or your family are wanting to celebrate earlier in the day, there are party spots for everyone in the region.
Below our list includes the best community events, fireworks display as well as pubs and club celebrations on New Year’s Eve.
TIVOLI DRIVE-IN - CHUWAR
Celebrate 23 at Tivoli is the region’s biggest event this New Year’s Eve and is one not to be missed. Little ones and adults alike will be delighted with entertainment ranging from a six piece blues/rock band, to peppy family pop-rock band, The Lemon Drops and many talented young vocalists. A little bird also told us that VIP Wildlife and their menagerie of snakes, lizards and other critters might be making an appearance. There will also be food stalls and trucks galore and the fireworks show will kick off at 9pm.

PROVIDENCE - SOUTH RIPLEY
Always a hub of wholesome family friendly celebrations, Providence Ripley is once again inviting the community to ring in the year with a night to remember. The Providence New Year’s Family Fiesta and Fireworks, hosted at the Splash ‘n’ Play Adventure Park, will feature live music by Lisa De Angelis, food trucks, face painting and roving entertainers from 6pm. The night will end with a bang with a fireworks display at 9pm.

BROTHERS LEAGUES CLUB - RACEVIEW
The vibes at Brothers Leagues Club’s New Years Beach Party are truly groovy with The Beach Babes performing their unique ‘surf rock’n’roll from the 50s and 60s’ from 8:30pm. Rumour has it there are prizes for best dressed too, so don your best beach gear and head on in.

You don’t get more upbeat fun than a Hawaiian Karaoke Party and that is exactly what MiHi Tavern in Brassall has in store for their New Year’s celebrations. Guests can sit back and relax for a meal before breaking out their very best tunes from 8pm.
