A Gympie woman who committed a range of crimes between November 2019 and June 2020, including possessing a firearm while she was on probation, fronted Gympie Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
Tamika Rae Geiger, 25, pleaded guilty to 43 charges, including supplying weapons, four stealing offences and breaching bail conditions 34 times.
Police prosecutor Melissa Campbell said Geiger had previous offences dealt with by the District Court in February 2021, after which she spent six months in custody before being released on probation.
Geiger’s defence lawyer Chris Anderson said his client was to be sentenced in the Magistrates Court for the remaining offences, as they did not qualify as District Court matters.
Magistrate Kurt Fowler ordered Geiger to forfeit all items, including a drug pipe, and to return all stolen property.
She was placed on 18 months probation, and her convictions were recorded.
