Takira Walters ‘ecstatic’ with son’s cutest kid in Gympie title after poll win

It was a tight race, with three finalists battling it out for the title of “cutest” kid in the Gympie region, but one two-year-old boy has come out on top.
Michael O’Hanlon’s mother Takira Walters said she was “ecstatic” to hear her little boy had won the poll.

“He loves being in front of the camera,” Ms Walters said.
“He’s got a big heart, he loves playing with cars and trucks and drawing.”

Ms Walters said Michael was an older brother to baby Jake who he “adores”.
When the Gympie Times put the call out on Facebook, an influx of young, smiling faces were sent in.
These nominations were compiled into a poll of finalists, and tied for second place were Nina and Colton.
