A popular restaurant and brewery between Noosa and Gympie has hit the market for the first time with the retiring owners willing to spill the tea on their brewing secrets.

A brewery with an in-house restaurant near Noosa has hit the market.

The Silky Oak Tea Gardens (The Crafty Brewery) is listed with Ray White and while there’s no official price tag yet, the agency is calling for Expressions of Interest, with Founders Daryl and Helen planning to retire after 25 years.

The rustic restaurant and venue with tranquil gardens is a stone's throw away from the southern gateway to Fraser Island as well as being close to the holiday hot spots of Noosa and Rainbow Beach and offers craft beer and homestyle food.

The well-known fully licenced brewery, live music venue and restaurant is a popular spot for both day travellers, interstate visitors and locals.

It’s being marketed as a property perfectly positioned to take advantage of the 70,000 annual visitors to Rainbow Beach, a popular destination for 4WD enthusiasts, fishermen, surfers and ecotourists.

The venue scores 4.6/5 on Google Reviews and 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor, with customers using phrases like “well worth a stop”, “hidden gem” and “cosy hideaway” to describe their experiences.

Commercial property consultant at Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast North, Chantel Dielwert, said the listing was ideal for anyone seeking a unique business opportunity and lifestyle change.

“The business is successful with a significant turnover and a consistent documented trade history,” Ms Dielwert said.

“It has a strong and loyal customer base, is regularly booked out, and is popular for parties and functions.

“People love the quirky atmosphere and good old fashioned pub service.”

A Commercial Hotel License and license for manufacturing alcohol are included in the sale along with the right to three detached bottle shops, which Ms Dielwert said added to the appeal.

“The owners are keen to pass on their brewing secrets to the new owners if desired,” she said.

The property has everything needed to run a successful hospitality business including a large commercial kitchen, outside kitchen, pizza oven, smoker, cold room and storage rooms.

The current capacity is 160 people, with 80 in the large fully furnished timber dining room/bar and 80 in the alfresco dining area.

The new owner will also secure a comfortable three-bedroom home set on peaceful private property, with timber floors and a carport.

An adjoining allotment forms part of the sale, providing additional space to expand and bringing the total land area to 4.9 acres (19,861m2*).

Ms Dielwert said the second allotment was well maintained and featured abundant fruit trees, a large shed and an operational bore with quality drinking water.
