Police appeal for help to find missing Gympie man David Johnson

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen 51-year-old Gympie man David Johnson to come forward as his family and friends hold concerns for his safety.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from the Gympie area since May 9.

David Johnson, 51, was last seen around 2pm on Monday, May 9 driving away from his Gympie home.

David has failed to contact family or friends and concerns are held for his safety and wellbeing.

He is driving a silver/bluish 2000 Toyota Camry sedan (as pictured) with Queensland registration 308-ZYO.

It is unknown where David intended travelling but he has connections in the Miles area, and the Sunshine and Gold coasts.

Police are appealing for David, or anyone with information in relation to his whereabouts, or anyone who has seen his vehicle, to immediately contact police.
