Perfect spring weather heralded the official opening of the Queensland State Polocrosse Titles at the Tansey Polocrosse Club on Friday, September 6.

LNP Nanango MP Deb Frecklington carried out the official duties, saying it was “fantastic to see the event being so well supported, with 40 teams and more than 240 players taking part in the three-day event”.

“This is an iconic sporting event for our region and I’d really like to congratulate Tansey Polocrosse president Justin Hafey and his team of volunteers for their hard work.

“The Tansey Polocrosse players are some of the best in the country and it is great to see them back at their home ground after their facility was devastated in the 2022 floods,” Mrs Frecklington said.
