GYMPIE High School student Lee Cleary finished second overall for Wide Bay and 24th in the state in the Queensland 13-19 years Triathlon State Championships in Hervey Bay.
Cleary competed against 50 competitors from 10 regions in the senior female category.
She completed the half Olympic distance disciplines of 750m swim, 20km ride and 5km run.
