Man and woman taken to Gympie hospital after car hits tree

Paramedics were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Saturday night, after a car hit a tree.

A man and a woman were taken to Gympie Hospital on Saturday night after the car they were driving hit a tree in Veteran.

The man sustained shoulder injuries and the woman sustained facial injuries in the crash at the intersection of Sandy Creek and Langley roads at 11pm.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance said both patients were in a stable condition.

Investigations into the crash are continuing.
