Gympie man injured in stabbing at Parsons Rd home, four men charged
Four men have been charged following a stabbing at a home on a quiet Gympie street where a 45-year-old man suffered wounds to his chest and stomach area.

Detectives from Gympie Criminal Investigation Branch have charged four men following an alleged stabbing at a Parsons Rd home in Gympie on Saturday afternoon (September 18).
A 22-year-old Gympie man was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils.
Three other Gympie men aged 19, 23 and 35 were also charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

The were all refused police bail and will appear in Gympie Magistrates Court today (September 20).
Police and paramedics were called to the Parsons Rd property at 4.43pm.
The victim, a 45-year-old Gympie man, was treated at the scene for “penetrating wounds” before being taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition and then flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
He suffered wounds to his chest and stomach area.
A neighbour said they heard yelling coming from the street near the property about the time of the incident.
Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
