Gympie’s most adorable little baby of 2023 has been crowned, and the winner is growing up to be an avid rugby league fan.
Cooper Swift is the winner of the competition with 17 per cent of votes at 26 out of 150 votes, followed by Rocco with seven per cent at 10 votes and Xander at six per cent at nine votes.

Cooper is all smiles for the camera – whenever Ms Patience takes out her phone, the photogenic little bub is ready with a dazzling grin.
Cooper was born in Sydney, and spent his first evening in the arms of his mother watching the State of Origin game in 2022.
The family returned to Gympie not long after.
Since then, Cooper has adored watching his father, Mitchell Swift, play sport in their backyard and loves watching footy matches on the television.
Ms Patience said she was sure Cooper would grow up to be a rugby league fan, and his grandmother had already bought him a Maroons shirt.
He will certainly grow up to be a “beautiful, strong and kind-hearted” little athlete, she said.
“He is so sweet and loves everyone around him,” Ms Patience said.
“I reckon he might get into sport – his dad got into sport.”
Cooper and his family love taking walks in the park and Ms Patience thinks he will love the beach.
His father is a disability and support worker in Gympie and Ms Patience is a receptionist.
