Car hits tree on Glastonbury Road, on Gympie’s Southside
A man has been taken to hospital after a car ran into a tree not far from the Gympie South School.

Emergency crews remain on the scene of a car accident on the Southside of Gympie, after a car hit a tree less than a kilometre away, on the Glastonbury Road, just before Silky Oak Drive.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the accident occurred about 2.25pm and a man was still being treated at the scene in a stable condition.
It remained unknown if his injuries were minor or severe. He was transported to Gympie Hospital.
No other cars or people were involved in the incident, emergency services said.
