Woman taken to Gympie hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries

A 47-year-old female motorcycle rider was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition after a serious crash at Monkland on Wednesday night.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said the woman suffered serious but not life threatening injuries to her lower body after she was run over by a caravan at Monkland on Wednesday night.
They said it is alleged the vehicle towing the caravan was making a turn at Bruce Hwy and Jordie Rd at Monkland when the motorcycle hit the caravan and the rider was run over.
They also said no one has been charged for the serious crash yet.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene just before 6pm, where investigations into the crash are ongoing.
