THIS sprawling South Gladstone property would not look out of place perched on a beachfront at the Gold Coast.
Say hello to one of Gladstone's most prestigious homes: 8 Mallard Court, which has just hit the market this month.
The five-bedroom mansion, which last came on the market in 2016 with no price tag, comes with big views and an even bigger price tag of $1.35 million.
Knight Frank sales manager Jock Gaughan said the house was built by the owner, a prominent Gladstone builder.
"It's a spectacular build and one of the gems in Gladstone," he said.
"It's very rare to come across a property of this size, price and quality.
"The owners have been living in Gladstone for the past 20 years."
With enough room to fit a large boat and a caravan, the home is an entertainer's dream.
An outdoor kitchen comes fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, gas and electric cooking stove.
The property was originally bought in 2007 before the owners transformed it into a masterpiece.
Mr Gaughan said the owners were empty-nesters.
"They are very private people and they have big, empty bedrooms after their children have grown up and moved out," he said.
"They are ready to move on to their next chapter in life."
Mr Gaughan said a number of inquires had already been made on the property.
"The demographic is mostly mature-aged couples in their 40s and 50s," he said.
While there is an endless list of features, Mr Gaughan said the water views were bringing in inquires.
"People are really attracted to the water views and the massive entertaining area.
"Four bedrooms are en-suited so it's ideal for a big family."
Mr Gaughan said all inquires had been from long-time Gladstone locals looking to upgrade their homes.
