Warrants issued for Gladstone Magistrates Court court no-shows

These people will be getting a knock on their door after failing to appear in Gladstone court, with a Magistrate issuing arrest warrants.

Warrants have been issued or released for people who did not appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court this week.

This does not mean the charges against them have been proven.

Taija-Lee Antonellie, 32, failed to appear in court on July 14.

Ms Antonellie is facing charges including possessing dangerous drugs, drug driving and numerous counts of stealing.

Magistrate Mary Buchanan said there was correspondence received from Ms Antonellie but she had a postponed warrant on file for numerous charges.

Police prosecutor Jennifer Leach sought the warrant be released.

Ms Buchanan said Ms Antonellie was aware that she had to be in court on July 14.

Ms Buchanan released the warrant to apprehend Ms Antonellie and bring her before the court to be dealt with.

Kurt Douglas Brimfield, 31, failed to appear in court on July 14.

He is facing a charge of unlicensed driving.

Mr Brimfield’s name was called three times and after he did not appear, Magistrate Buchanan noted there was a warrant lying on the file.

She released that warrant to apprehend Mr Brimfield and bring him before the court to be dealt with.

Timothy John Eddington, 31, also failed to appear in court on July 14.

He is facing charges including possessing dangerous drugs.

After Mr Eddington’s name was called three times and he did not appear, police prosecutor Jennifer Leach sought a warrant.

Magistrate Buchanan issued a warrant to apprehend Mr Eddington and bring him before the court to be dealt with.
