A teenage girl has been flown to hospital in Rockhampton following a serious crash on a central Queensland highway.

The single vehicle rollover occurred on the Dawson Highway near Mt Alma, about 43km west of Calliope, about 11.30 this morning.

The highway had been closed to allow a rescue helicopter to land but has been reopened.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman revealed a teenage girl had suffered serious spinal and hip injuries.

She was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Two other men involved in the crash were still being treated on scene at 1pm, both reporting back pain.

They are expected to be taken to hospital by road on Sunday afternoon.
