G.J. GARDNER Homes Gladstone has been rated top national builder for the third year in a row on consumer website ProductReview.com.au.
Business owner Kim Underwood said the streak was humbling.
"To get an award for customer satisfaction makes all the hard work worth it,” Ms Underwood said.
"In a market where so many people are trying to bargain for the bottom dollar, we've tried to stay out of that game and just continuously offer a good price but most importantly work hard to create a beautiful, high-quality home.”
Ms Underwood said the business was dedicated to involving clients in the building process and valued their feedback.
"Our customers get the opportunity to complete a survey on how we perform before and after our builds, which keeps us grounded and helps us always improve,” she said.
"We hope to continue to be able to help Gladstone grow.
"We love seeing the younger generations start to build homes and start their own families within the community and we want to be a part of that.”
Ms Underwood said she started noticing growth in the region's property market mid last year.
"Confidence has definitely returned to the market,” she said.
"First-home buyers are also trying to get their foot in the door by using the government grant of $15,000 for building new.”
Ms Underwood said building approval records placed G.J. Gardner Homes Gladstone as one of the top choices for residential building over the past few years.
"Although times have been tough we have remained steady building and supporting the local suppliers and trades,” she said.
G.J. Gardner Homes Gladstone is based at Kirkwood and received a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 214 reviews on ProductReview.com.au, making it the highest rated builder from hundreds listed on the website.
