Gladstone’s Club Hotel will re-open this summer following major renovations which will see the precinct transformed and decked out with a new beer garden, sports bar, and family friendly area.
The Club Hotel is currently undergoing a $3.6 million renovation which will see the pub closed while the attached bottle shop will continue serving customers.
The new beer garden, expected to fit more than 300 patrons, is hoped to be the perfect spot for locals to congregate over the summer while a new kids playground and family friendly bistro will have capacity for about 86 people to entertain people of all ages.
Developed by Red Architects, works will also focus on revitalising the hotel’s gaming room and creating a state-of-the-art sports bar, expected to accommodate more than 60 sport lovers.
Australian Venue Co. CEO Craig Ellison said the impressive facility would become a “go-to” facility for families and workers.
“Australian Venue Co has been investing heavily in revitalising the Queensland pub landscape, with recent completed renovations in Cairns, Coomera and Mackay,” Mr Ellison said.
