A Clinton man will face court next week after he allegedly intimidated two women in Gladstone Central by pointing a gel blaster rifle at them, screaming “bang” at one of them and following the other around her car. Here’s what we know

A Gladstone man armed with a gel blaster rifle who allegedly pointed the weapon at two women, including one in her 60s, is due to appear in court next week.
A 36-year-old Clinton man was charged following two disturbances in Gladstone Central on August 15.
Police allege that about 10am on the Monday, the man was carrying a gel blaster rifle before he approached and pointed it at a 61-year-old woman who was getting out of her vehicle on Tank St.
Police say the woman tried to walk around her vehicle but the man continued to point the gel blaster at her, causing her to seek refuge in a nearby business.
The man then approached a 25-year-old woman sitting on a public bench at Goondoon St and pointed the gel blaster at her while screaming “Bang!”.

It will be further alleged that when police arrived at the scene on Goondoon St, they located the man swearing while still carrying the gel blaster.
The man has been charged with two counts of going armed to cause fear and one count of public nuisance.
He was granted bail and is due to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on September 20.
