Burnt food to blame for fire which saw two Gladstone men transported to hospital with smoke inhalation

Emergency services crews were called to Toolooa Street, Gladstone, about 7pm Wednesday in response to a unit fire.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said two crews responded, however the fire was out by the time they arrived.
The cause of the fire was reportedly burnt food which had been left in an oven too long.
One QFES crew remained on scene and conducted atmospheric testing to ensure air levels were safe.
The property was handed back to the landlord about 7.30pm.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics transported two men to Gladstone Hospital in stable conditions with smoke inhalation following the incident.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the fire was being treated as non-suspicious.
