BEAUTY is in the eye of the beholder and Boudoir Ozcan photography will frame it to empower women with their natural exquisiteness.

Lanie Ambrock has been doing boudoir photography for the last six years loving her work and allowing women to be portrayed with the beauty they deserve.

"This style of photography empowers women and embracing the skin they are in," Lanie said.

"I shoot the customer as they are with not much touch up afterwards."

The term 'Boudoir' was a French word meaning a lady's private dressing room or bedroom.

In photography term's it refers to a style woman pose for partially clothed or in lingerie.

Boudoir photography is sometimes cheeky with naughty but nice added to it for a bit of spice in the customer's life.

"For women who have had children, I want to make them beautiful and natural regardless of any flaws they might have," Lanie said.

There was more to the Boudoir experience than just a couple of photo snaps.

Pampering, hair and makeup with a class of wine to help make the occasion a memorable one.

It can also make for a birthday present, wedding gift or Valentine's Day present for a loved one.

"Sometimes we do bridal photos of the bride to be and she gives an album to the groom as a wedding present," Lanie said.

"It's the perfect gift with a difference for partners."

The studio has many different settings and theme with some more popular than others.

With a scarlet red backdrop and seductive toys on a silk adorned bed, the world was the customer's oyster as they step into a fantasy photography session.

We have different scenarios and 50 Shades of Grey is popular with whips and crops.

Lanie had a bit of laugh about men being in the boudoir photography.

"They (men) don't want to be in it at first, then they see how much fun it can be and like to join in as well," she said.
