A teenager has been taken to hospital after her car hit a pole in a Lockyer Valley town on Saturday night.

Emergency services were alerted just after 8pm to the crash on the corner of Cobblestone Lane and Mulgowie Road in Laidley South.

The teen, who was the vehicle’s only occupant, was treated for abdominal and back injuries and taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Elderly man hospitalised in Western Downs crash

A man in his 80s has been treated after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash in a small rural community in the Western Downs.

The incident in the locality of Jinghi occurred at the corner of Jandowae Connection Road and Chinchilla Wondai Road just after 7pm.

The man was assessed for a lower leg injury and taken to the Jandowae Health Service for further treatment.

Rollover leaves person in hospital

A person has been hospitalised following a rollover on a major highway near Warwick on Saturday night.

The incident on the New England Highway at Rosenthal Heights was reported to emergency services just after 7pm.

The person was treated for chest injuries and taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition.
