Emergency services received a report of the incident on Coominya Connection Rd in Coominya just after 11am, with both fire and ambulance crews arriving on scene.
A QAS spokeswoman said paramedics assisted fire and rescue crews to free the patient’s arm, a female in her teens, which had become entrapped in the claw of a machine.
It’s understood the piece of machinery was about 4.5m above ground.
The teenager’s arm suffered a significant laceration, which was treated by paramedics at the scene.
