What’s on: Music festival set to rock River Heads this weekend

How you can rock out at River Heads to a bunch of great bands and raise money for a good cause at the same time: Here’s all the details.

Over the course of 10 hours, five rocking bands are set to take to the stage at River Heads Rocks music festival on Saturday.

To be held at the Fraser Coast RV Park on Saturday, the event will kick off from 11am and will start with up and coming local band Forsaken Incident.

The group will be followed at 12pm with the Miz Bully Band, a soul band coming all the way from to Northern Territory.

Between 2.30pm and 3pm Rock n Roll Pipes will perform, followed by 8 Ball Aitken, the slide guitar sensation.

Taking to the stage from 6pm will be the headliners of the event, the Rolling Stones Experience.

The event will raise funds for MS Queensland and a range of food drinks will be available onsite, with plenty of food vans to choose from.

The event is bring your own chairs and alcohol.
