Four children, including two primary school children, were taken to hospital after a bus crash on Thursday morning.

The crash happened at Helm Rd about 8.12am.

Two primary school aged children were taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition with facial injuries, a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said.

Two other children were also assessed by paramedics at the scene and were being transported by their parents to hospital, she said.
