Three hurt in e-scooter accidents in Maryborough, New Auckland, and Minyama

Emergency crews responded to three e-scooter crashes in Queensland overnight, with injuries reported on the Fraser and Sunshine Coasts and near Gladstone.

Three people were taken to hospital following separate e-scooter incidents across Queensland overnight.

In Maryborough, a teenage boy suffered chest injuries after falling from an e-scooter at the intersection of Bazaar and Alice Streets around 8.30pm.

He was taken to Maryborough Hospital.

Earlier in the evening, a man in his 40s suffered a hand injury in an e-scooter crash at the intersection of Parsons and Wicks streets in New Auckland.

He was taken to Gladstone Hospital around 6.46pm.

Meanwhile, in Minyama, a woman in her 20s was injured in a collision involving an e-scooter and a pedestrian on Balemo Street at 6.16pm.

She was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with a foot injury.

All three patients were reported to be in a stable condition.
