A truck driver, who allegedly caused a crash that claimed the life of a Maryborough woman, has failed to appear in court.
Steven Andrew Roy Briggs, 52, was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and drug driving.
His charges were set to be mentioned before Maryborough District Court on Wednesday, but he failed to appear.
A warrant was issued for his arrest.
The fatal crash happened near the Puma petrol station at Tinana on August 18, 2020.
Kathleen Jean Gadd, 72, died at the scene.
